I have never lived in an area that always had as much freeway construction as they have in Colorado Springs.  I chose to live here because fifteen years ago, it was a nice little town near the big town of Denver, so I had the best of both worlds.  Now, however, I’m going nuts!

I-25 is the main freeway that connects us to the rest of the world and for the last five years, it’s been under construction.  I have no idea what they are doing because there are so many trucks, barracades and cones that it’s hard to see what progress they’ve made.  I know construction is hard work and I feel for the people who are out there doing the work, but I’d feel better about the whole thing if it was actually improving my quality of life (or at least improving my drive time) but this is not the case.  I moved from LA to get away from such craziness, but now it’s like deja vous all over again!
