Finding the Best Shopping Cart

I am in a search to find the best shopping cart. There are many types of carts on the market today and finding one that delivers what I am hoping it will is a complex process. There are many things to think about. For example, one of the first things I thought was going to be the most important deciding factor was security. I need something that my customers can trust in and be happy with using. This does not seem like it is going to be a hard thing to find since most of the best ecommerce products seem to be excellent at providing security.
I have taken some time to learn what a shopping cart is and how to use it. Now, I am considering several different products in the hopes of finding the one that gives me all the security I want to have but also allows me to count on it. I also need a good price, but is that not something that everyone wants? I am thinking about Dotnenuke shopping cart and other similar products. For those who have done this before, I wonder what the most important items are to them. What is it that defines the best cart from the second best?
