Yesterday, I spoke to my boss about “the status of the coordinator position.” It’s never a good sign when boss starts out by saying “To clarify, there is no position.”

I didn’t get much reassurance out of talking to her about the promotion. The status appears to be the same as it was before: the paperwork (request) has been put in and we’re waiting on the CEO’s approval. Um yeah, I’m sure it’s right up there in his top priorities too.

Oh well. In any case, it felt better just to get it out of me and talk to my boss about it. I feel less frustrated about my job today.

I’m so sleepy and lazy today. I have virtually nothing “hot” to do right now, so it’s just catching up on organizing and updating. Honestly though, I’m mentally checked out for the week. It feels like such a Friday to me.
